configuration wizard"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Basic configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The AIM-CUE<strong> configuration wizard<\/strong> will allow us to configure the basics, Hostname, Domain name, NTP, TZ(Time Zone) and the Administrator credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our particular case, for our LAB we are going to configure it as follow, see class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verify NTP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The NTP in our LAB is configured on the same Voice Gateway, we have a Cisco 3845 configured as the <strong>NTP master<\/strong>, and we can double class=\"wp-block-heading\">Starting AIM-CUE configuration wizard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before actually starting the AIM-CUE configuration wizard a good idea is to check the current status of the module, for that we can use the following CLI command, see below screenshot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>service-module service-Engine 0\/1 status<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div can see in the above screenshot the AIM-CUE status is &#8220;<strong>steady<\/strong>&#8221; and it &#8220;<strong>supports a session via TTY line 386<\/strong>&#8220;, that is enough information for us to just go ahead and initiate a session, but before doing that we can check the configuration for that particular TTY line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>show running-config | class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hostname and Domain Name<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t know why but the system ask you twice for confirmation as you can see below, only after that double confirmation you system shows <strong>SYSTEM ONLINE<\/strong> including the configured hostname (CUE) in the system&#8217;s prompt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><a class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable has no password<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first thing we can do once in the CUE could perfectly be to change to the <strong>privileged EXEC mode<\/strong> using the CLI command &#8220;<strong>enable<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because the system was reset to <strong>factory default<\/strong> we don&#8217;t have a password configured yet, so just press Enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><a
